My trip to Melbourne city-part 3
While I'm busy taking pictures of this Parliament building, there was a big commotion happened back in Malaysia but I'm not sure about that stuff, I think it was about the Bersih 2.0 Campaign. The campaign that talking about the Malaysian Election system...and bla, bla, bla, no comment...(Takut kena ISA). Done with that, and now I only want to talk about this beautiful building. This historical building was design by government architecture, Charles Pasley. The rumor said that he borrowed the design from The Leeds Town Hall, which is one of the finest Civic building in the world. This building situated at the Spring street in East Melbourne, which is at the edge of Melbourne city.
This building also one of the example of Roman Revival architecture. You can see the Roman architecture design, just by looking at the detail and structure of this building. This building is open to public, and if I'm not mistaken, they do have group tour too. I just wasn't so lucky at that time because I came alone, by myself taking pictures just from the outside. At least I have little pieces of memory of this building from these picture.
I hope that I can go back to Melbourne again and take a wide-angle shot of this building. Yes, I do have one, but I couldn't manage to stitch the pictures all together. I have to tweak around the pictures, and it took me so much time. That's why I just ignore it, really wasting my time.
P/S: Next time, bring your wide lens, to take pictures such as this historical building.
